Research Experience

Mathematics Research Assistant

Roger Williams University
September 2014-May 2016
Evaluated new and unique numerical results for the Helmholtz equation for the shape of a Biconcave Disk that may be useful in the design of a space ship to one day land on Planet Mars. Wrote a 67-page long senior thesis as a capstone for the research project.

REU Research Student

University of Connecticut
May-July 2015
Collaborated with a group of 5 on research in the fields of Representation Theory and Algebraic Combinatorics. Co-authored a paper titled, "Minimal Length Maximal Green Sequences and Triangulations of Polygons," Springer, Journal of Algebraic Combinatorics, December 2016. Proved the minimal length conjecture for type A Dynkin diagrams via a combinatorial approach, and began work on a maximal length conjecture.
